Family Day

Family days, or gatherings as we call them in Arkansas, are special in these here parts. They give all the cousins, aunts, uncles, and such a chance to get together and catch up on all the doings in our lives. I'm fixing to tell ya'll about our last big gathering. The relatives all showed up here at the Hoot 'n HollerTrailer Park to commence the fun.

Uncle Earl and Cousin Luke set right down on the porch to discuss politics, the country going to hell, and how they'd use their stimulus money to start up a new bait shop in town.

Several of the guys gathered together to show off the latest improvements to their cars and trucks. Mighty nice!

Billy Bob took his young'un for a quick run to the Wal-Mart to get some moon pies, RC Cola, and Spam. Don't he look stylish, now?

Meanwhile, Bubba Joe waited for them in the parking lot, and just looked cool to impress the ladies.

Back at the park, Jimmy Joe and Jack tried the new hot tub, while Cletus showed off his new deer rifle, and Ephrem offered boat rides.

Jethro and Ellie May held their wedding rehearsal, Fred and Zac celebrated the Cowboy's last victory, Caleb practiced for his next tractor race, Myrtle Mae took a time-out, and then the whole bunch came in to share a special meal. Can't wait fer the next gathering!
